Lauren Cheong is a Toronto based photographer who specializes in creating mouth watering images.

Ever since she was a little kid breakfast, lunch and dinner were a way of life. After completing both a B.F.A. at York University and a Creative Photography diploma from Humber College Lauren realized that her two loves in life, food and photography, could go hand in hand. Her career started at a leading food photography studio in Toronto where she learned the ins and outs of capturing food while handling national brand clients. Her experience eventually streamlined her work into a commercial product specialization and landed her the role of in house photographer for the Canadian design company Umbra Ltd. Running her own studio at their head office, Lauren photographed quirky products and innovative designs.

In addition to working behind the camera, Lauren is an Instructor and Program Co-Ordinator at GTA Photography Classes located in the heart of downtown Toronto. Teaching both adult hobbyists and enthusiastic young minds, she promotes a well balanced education of both theoretical and practical components to encourage her students to think both creatively as well as technically.
